IN MEMORY OF CLYDE -- 2003 - 2012 |
![]() |
On
Monday, April 2, our beautiful boy Clyde passed away. He had developed a
tumor on his spleen, and was in a lot of pain. Clyde came to Adopt-a-Dog
in the spring of 2005 after being abandoned at a New York City pound.
Clyde was adopted in 2006, but his owner passed away and Clyde returned
to us in December of 2007. Since that time Clyde had lived in the back
room of the house, with his own fenced in yard.
The
staff at Adopt-a-Dog treated him as if he was their own dog. One of his
nicknames, Bubba, stuck with him throughout his years spent with us. He
loved chewing on tennis balls as if they were a piece of gum, hot dogs
and cookies, and most of all enjoyed attention and affection from all of
us. Although he did not find his forever adoptive home, we gave him the
best life we could. Clyde’s passing has been difficult for those who
knew and loved him, and he will be missed. |
