Terrier, who is about 50 pounds..
A very sweet guy, George would do well
in a home with older children and is
good with most other dogs. George
cannot be placed in a home with a cat. |
Fresca is a 9 Month Old Spayed Female Pit Bull Terrier Mix who was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn. She is an energetic dog who is not fairing well at the shelter and needs to find a home soon. She is a smart girl and is quite willing to learn. |
Barney is a
15 Month Old Neutered Male Shepherd / Collie
Mix. Barney is really social and would do well in a home with another dog. He is a good walker on a leash, likes to chase squirrels and may be okay in a home with a cat. |

is a 1 1/2 Year Old, 55 pound Neutered Male
Mixed Breed. A friendly boy,
Diesel would do well in a home with
another dog and is unsure of cats.
He loves to run, enjoys playing fetch and would like
the company of possibly a teenager or
two. |
Binky
is a 2 Year Old Neutered Male Parsons
Russell Terrier. Weighing around 20 pounds, Binky is an
exuberant boy who is just your typical Terrier. Not fond of cats, Binky is recommend for a home with a fenced in yard and is social with some other dogs. |
Rocky
is a 1 Year Old Neutered Male Siberian
Husky. Weighing in around 50 pounds, Rocky is still growing and probably will gain another 10-15 pounds. Playful and social, he is a good walker on a leash and is social with most other dogs. |

Oh
how I love tennis balls!! And stuffed
toys!!! And rawhides!!! My name is Riley,
and I'm a very handsome 4 Year Old
neutered male Pitbull. I may look tough
on the outside but on the inside I'm a
big mush. I love playing fetch, and one
of my many talents is that I can carry
not one but two tennis balls in my
mouth! I know
how to sit (which is easy), give paw
(another easy one), wave and speak --
pretty impressive, huh?!! |
Suzie
is a sweet, loving 11 Year Old black
Labrador Retriever who arrived at our
shelter as her former owner was moving
away and could not take her. This
good-natured and SUPER sweet girl has
resided in our lobby since arrival and
meets and greets everyone who
visits our kennel with a wagging tail.
She would be best in a home with minimal
stairs, as she does have a bit of
arthritis for her young age. As
Suzie wants to be your one dog, she would need to go to a home as the only dog in the household. |
Hey
there -- my name's Tiny Tim, and I'm
1 1/2 years old. I'm a neutered male,
and along with my brother Diesel, I was
abandoned at a sanctuary in upstate New
York. The wonderful woman who found us
sent us down here to Adopt-a-Dog, and
it's been quite an adventure!
I'm
on the smaller side, around 34 pounds. I don't mind
being around cats, and I'm getting more
social with other dogs. I love running
and playing in the yard here, and being
around people and cuddling up on the couch in
the living room. |

Caleb is a 7 1/2
year old neutered male Shepherd mix who
weighs around 65lbs. He take a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is very loving and loyal. Caleb is extremely obedient
and knows more then just the basic
commands! He loves to be brushed and once he
warms up to you he’ll be waiting for a
good belly rub! Caleb would do best
in an adult low traffic home as the only pet. |
Gremlin
is a 4 1/2 Year Old, spayed female mixed
breed treasure who has been at our shelter almost three years! Gremlin loves to
play with toys, especially squeaky ones,
and will entertain herself in the play
yard. Gremlin loves
people! She does not seem do get
along with other dogs, but doesn't mind
cats and would do best with children
over the age of 12. She’s
beautifully ugly and wonderfully cute!

Candy
is a 6 1/2 Year Old spayed female
Shepherd/Greyhound mix that was rescued
from a local shelter. Candy is a
special girl, with a lot of love to
give. She has a lot of energy, and
enjoys playing with stuffed, squeaky
toys. Candy gets along with some dogs,
and is a bit shy upon meeting people for
the first time. Once she gets to know
you, she'll be your best friend for
life. |

Husky. A smart boy, Conan loves to be brushed and have his belly rubbed. Your typical Husky, Conan is recommended for a home with a fenced in yard and is social with other dogs. |
Sophie
is a 2 year old spayed female Hound/Beagle Mix who is about 18 pounds. She is social, but is recommend in a home with young children. She is social with some other dogs and unsure of cats. |
Pac is a 4
1/2 Year Old Neutered Male Labrador
Retriever. Weighing in around 90
pounds, Pac needs an adult home who will
allow him to do his favorite thing -
play with tennis balls and would prefer
to be the only pet in the household. |

our 6 1/2 Year Old Labrador/Aussie Mix who has been at the shelter for 3 years. She's very
sweet, loving and affectionate and is social with some other dogs. She's always up for a game of
fetch, and knows basic commands, such as
sit, paw, and down. Noelle would do best
in a home with adults only. She's a
wonderful girl, and has a lot of love to
give. |
Jessie
is a 1 1/2 Year Old Spayed Female
Chihuahua Mix who arrived at our shelter
due to her former home's issue with time
restraints. Initially a bit unsure
of strangers, Jessie warms up real quick
to new people and is social with most
other dogs. She is not
recommended in a home with children.

Rudy is a 4
1/2 year old neutered male shepherd mix. He
loves other dogs, and would do best in
an adult home. Rudy knows basic
commands, such as sit. He is a bit aloof
at first, but once he knows you he's all
smiles and tail wags. Rudy is a sweet,
fun-loving dog and loves to play. |

first meets you, but warms up pretty
quickly. This beautiful girl gets along
with other dogs and cats as well.

Q, his girlfriend. Tyke is a
friendly boy who would do well in a home
with older children, but cats are not

Ruby would not be good in a home with
children; she is social with most other
dogs.

the passing of his owner. A
reserved guy, Clyde does get along with
some other dogs, but we do not trust him
around cats. He takes
