BIG ROCKY FUND
Big Rocky recently arrived at our shelter and showed immediate signs of illness. Rocky needed surgery to relieve fluid building outside his lungs. During his three hour surgery, a wooded skewer was found embedded in his chest. Was he stabbed? Did he swallow it? We will never know. ** UPDATE **On Monday, August 10th, Big Rocky was released and is now at our shelter where over the next few weeks he will be recovering from his surgery. Rocky was well cared for while at Animal Speciality Center, in Yonkers, NY, who preformed the surgery. Once cleared, this sweet boy will be available for adoption.
