Fairfield County’s Giving Day

Thank you to everyone that donated on Fairfield County’s Giving Day! It was a very exciting 24 hours. With the help of a matching gift from one of our donors, we raised a total of $7,825! We can’t wait to see what next year brings.

On March 9th, Fairfield County is encouraging everyone to “Give Where they Live.”  Adopt-A-Dog will be participating in Fairfield County’s Giving Day for the third year in a row! Fairfield County’s Giving Day is a 24 hour online fundraiser that gives you the opportunity to donate to hundreds of different nonprofits in the surrounding area. This means you have 24 hours to donate to Adopt-A-Dog.

Throughout the day there will be multiple “power hours,” where organizations have the chance to win prizes from $1,000 to $5,000. Donating during those hours gives us a chance to win those prizes! The organization with the most unique donors by the end of the day wins $20,000!!

During the day there are multiple “Power Hour’s.” Below are this year’s “Power Hours.”

The organization with the most unique donors in the following hours:

Morning Momentum Power Hour: 10am – 11am

$2,500 “Lunch is on us!” Power Hour: 12pm-1pm

Coffee Break Power Hour: 3pm-4pm

The organizations that raise the most dollars in the following hours:

$1,000 Happy Hour Power Hour: 6pm-7pm

$2,500 Big Finish Power Time between 10pm-11:59pm

The money raised during this fundraiser directly benefits the dogs of Adopt-A-Dog. The money raised will provide the dogs with toys, treats, comfy bedding, medications and so much more.

Go to our Fairfield County’s Giving Day donation page on March 9th to support the dogs of Adopt-A-Dog! Thank you in advance for your support!
