Frankie needs your help! We have a long history with Frankie. We first met him in 2009 when we took him in from a local animal control. He was adopted and spent five very happy years with his owner. Sadly due to financial struggles his owner had to surrender Frankie back to us in 2015. After spending a couple of weeks with us Frankie was adopted into a new loving home. We sadly received the news a few days ago that Frankie's owner has unexpectedly passed away and no one is able to keep Frankie. He is currently in the care of his owner's best friend but this is only temporary. Frankie finds himself looking for a new family to call his own again. A shelter environment is no place for a dog to call home at any time of their life but especially for dog's like Frankie. He doesn't kennel well due to the high stress environment so we would like to avoid putting this gentleman through that again. Frankie is a Husky/Shepherd Mix and is about 70lbs. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He is about 9 years old but don't let that fool you he is still very active & able to keep up! He is looking to be placed as the only pet and can live with kids 13 years and older. Frankie is extremely loyal and is a wonderful canine companion. Please share his story and if you are interested in learning more please call us at 914-273-1674. ... See MoreSee Less
